Just took it out for it’s first few rides. And let me tell you, coming from a G2T, this thing has POWER! I used to only get 7-8 mph going up a hill I frequent on my commute into work. With the G3 Plus I kept a steady 16mph! The deck feels perfect in the flex department, I’m 170lbs. Just enough bounce to be fun, but stiff enough to go fast (I’ve hit 30.9 mph so far, and with my setup dialed in it felt wonderfully stable). The deck also has very well crafted concave near the edges that lock your feet in nicely. Overall, it’s a fantastic upgrade to the G2T for a long-time downhill longboarder. Still, the lower modes (Eco and Sport) make it usable for beginners. I like nipple bushings and Romp shock pad/nose protectors on my setups and they work excellently on this board.
