All terrain board with independent suspension1 month, 2 weeks ago | 0 Replies
This year, I have been designing and building an all-terrain electric scooter with independent suspension for my hobby. As a mechanical engineer, I like to design and implement my own. When I was satisfied with the design, I started building the project. I wanted to make an electric skateboard that could ride on any terrain, so I chose to use big wheels on it. I added my own independent suspension design to create a unique driving experience when driving off-road rather than using a regular scooter. The plate is connected with a steering lever to enable all 4 wheels to turn. After steering, additional springs will be used to reposition the board in the center position.
Now the board is ready and I want to show you. The lithium battery and motor controller are not visible in the frame. The 800W brushed motor provides enough power and torque for the circuit board, and achieves a top speed of about 30km/h. I consciously chose to use a brush motor because the size of the motor is not an issue in this version. I hope you like it!
