Boardzilla Electric Skateboard -EV4 V2 Mountainboard1 month, 2 weeks ago | 1 Replies
EV4’s “Boardzilla” electric skateboard.
Like other EV4 vehicles, Boardzilla has an innovative suspension system with tilting wheels.
The EV4 V2 Mountainboard design combines a dual wishbone steering system with a central shock absorption mechanism. The scooter chassis is mostly made of machined aluminum and other metals, and apparently the designers didn’t try to appeal to riders who like cheap, lightweight gear, hence the name “Boardzilla”!
Needless to say, the board was designed and built using an unorthodox (for skateboarding) concept, which means the end result is a product that bears minimal resemblance to most electric climbing boards sold on the market today, but who cares. I love new and innovative concepts, and when these crazy ideas come together and look cool, there’s only one word left to describe it.
In terms of performance, the weapon is rear-wheel driven and runs dual 6374 overrotor motors that can be powered by a belt and pulley drive system for the 8-inch Trampa wheels. However, it is not clear which battery and power system has been placed in the centrally mounted battery case on this version of the motherboard.
The team’s previous version, manufactured from Poland, was a 36V, 13Ah battery system. It was clear that the project was built entirely with mechanical engineering concepts in mind from the start, so it was no surprise that the electronic systems would come behind to make the mechanical surfaces shine. The reality is that these people clearly have the skills needed to plug any type of battery, motor, and ESC combination that is required into this tank… I think 4WD is a must for Boardzilla V3.
