Exway-X1-Pro

The Exway X1 Pro is a nice upgrade on the now discontinued Exway X1. It adds several hardware upgrades while offering you great riding experience. Moreover, you can now swap between hub and belt motors to customize your riding experience.

Features
  • The Exway X1 Pro also comes with a smart battery and drivetrain. This will customize your riding experience according to different driving modes. The 193Wh battery also supports fast charging. You can fully recharge it in 70 minutes. It can also last 16 miles or 26 kilometers and can last about a day.In the case of high usage, you can rely on a very short break to recharge and get it running again.
  • The ride experience is further enhanced by a customizable drive system. It can also drive the board to 29 miles per hour or 46.6 kilometers per hour, which is pretty fast for anything you can get in this section. In addition, it has regenerative braking, giving you a better and more efficient riding experience.
  • The plate is also fairly light at 6.8 kg and can still tolerate gradients of up to 30 degrees. The Exway X1Pro is also weatherproof and comes with interchangeable PU sleeves. The shock-absorbing grip tape adds a layer of smooth ride to it.
  • The best part of the Exway X1 Pro besides its simple board design and performance is its weatherproof ability. This applies not only to its boards, but also to moving parts, such as ball bearings inside the 85mm wheel. So you don’t have to worry about the board or the water on the board.
  • The board is also 36.8 inches by 10.6 inches and 93.5 centimeters by 27 centimeters. This gives you plenty of room to maneuver and stand comfortably on the board. Also, thanks to the board coming in with a line x dust and waterproof coating, you can get as messy as you like!

The feel is incredible. Surprisingly, skating can be like riding a bicycle, at least with this mini cruiser. I

I have been riding non-motorized longboards for years and always yearned for an electric one so I can enjoy the feeling of going downhill on any road. With a bit of research, I felt the Exway X1 Pro was the best board money can buy in terms of speed, range, weight and looks. I particularly like that they integrated the batteries into the board so you cannot even tell it is motorized. This gives the board a sleek look. This board looks like it was well designed versus other boards that look it was made from a kit. My first moment on the electric board was a bit awkward. Imagine standing on a board and someone from behind kicking your board forward. So be ready for that. The top speed of 29 mph should be more than enough for most speed freaks. To put things in perspective, that is about the speed of Olympic athlete Usain Bolt. The remote is comfortable and easy to use. Carving is easy with this board. The ride is noticeably harsher than my regular board. But this is because the bumps/time ratio is higher since i am going faster. And also because the motor is integrated into the rear wheels, their is less rubber to absorb shock. For smooth roads the bumps are not as noticeable. When available, I plan to buy the bolt on Riot belt driven system for the extra comfort because they use regular wheels.

Daniel Kwan has a few youtube videos on the Exway X1 Pro if you would like to learn more about it. The seller which I assume Exway is very responsive.

So the only negatives about this board is really a negative with electric boards versus regular boards in general. But I feel Exway does make it not as bad compared to their competitors.

    – Electric boards are heavier

    – Most electric boards are stiffer

    – The ride is noticeably harsher because bumps/time ratio is higher.

She’s a real nice death machine. Easily the stealthiest eboard out there. The throttle is nice and smooth and brakes are strong. I sit at 27 mph all day steady no fear or feel of speed wobbles. I can pump her at pretty much any speed. I did get tossed into a nasty bush at 20mph because the speed is very deceiving, not the boards fault. Only real issue is the harshness of the ride from the rear. It’s the the same for all hub motor eboards but costing a grand, it’s worth taking a star off.

Had it for a year now. My son likes it. It loses breaking ability when the charge dies. You cant take it on a plane, at the international airports due to battery regulations. The board cant climb very steep grades as his college campus is quite hilly. But over all, he has enjoyed this board.

Sick riding Ronnie! You are always the one who can make the best of our boards by playing that many traditional longboard tricks on it:-) Is it the so-called “Skaters for Skaters” ? Looking forward to hearing how you feel like the riot later,Thanks!
