Operation method: Anti-Spark XT-90s Loop Key1 week, 5 days ago | 0 Replies
This is not an engineering marvel. It doesn’t light up blue. It’s not as good as the push-button fireproof flower on Enertion or something like that. It’s not $45- $60.
This may be a bit of a remedy for some of you (you know who you are), but I wanted to show you how I build one in case others want to make their own. You could do it a lot easier/simpler, but I have some time to fiddle around in the garage and love crafting it for my next build.
Start with the fireproof FLOWER XT-90 570:
I took some of my laid 12/2 wire, copper ground wire that Bridges the loop contacts perfectly.
I like modularity. If it fails or I want to do something different, I can easily replace it without having to cut it out. 6mm connector:
The slot is so THAT I can squeeze it to fit/weld better.
Finished with some heat shrinkable tubes and umbrella ropes so I could easily pull open the disconnect.
The only problem I can imagine is the depth of fit. I’ll probably flatten it out and fix the bottom. I may also attach a small string/wire to the umbrella loop to prevent it from getting lost.
Nothing special, but I think it turned out well. I plan to install (slowly) my new electronic omen.
Hope to help you!
